Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for quite a while. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian has appeared featured on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea" is a popular Irish writer and actor. Her birth date was the 16th of March 1984. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comic in the year 2011. In 2012, she began appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar shows. In 2012, after winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for numerous panel shows for which she has become a fixture. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, in addition to being a performer in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress is the mother of one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she became the only woman to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to honor her deceased father. Bea also published an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and professional jockey for a time. They were both passionate about horses, race meetings and the racing industry. When she was a child, Bea worked as an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she wasn't interested in the racing industry as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
